Opening of the Exposition in the Museum of history of sports bows
On the eve of the upcoming 2020 - the year of the summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in Saint-Petersburg it has been opened an exhibition dedicated to archery in Japan in the Museum of the History of Sports Bows. 

12/21/2019 on the eve of the upcoming 2020 - the year of the summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in Saint-Petersburg it has been opened an exhibition dedicated to archery in Japan in the Museum of the History of Sports Bows. 

The task of the organizers of the event is to showi the integrity of the archery tradition and its historical connection with modernity by the example of the archery development in Japan. 

Nowadays archery is not only one of the mandatory types of sports in the program of the Summer Olympic Games, but it is also a way of recreational leisure for people who are passionate about history, culture, martial arts, a healthy lifestyle. 

At the opening of the exhibition the Honorary Guests of the event were attended by the General Consul of Japan in Saint-Petersburg, Mr. Iijima Yasumasa, the Culture Vice-Consul of the General Consulate of Japan in Saint-Petersburg, Mr. Tsutsui Akiyuki, the Executive Director of the Saint- Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Branch of “Russian Union of Martial Arts”, Mr. V.Skrylev, the Head Coach of the National Aikido Council of Russia, the President of the Club "Lenkai" Mr. I.Novikov, the Head of the Japanese Tea Art Club "Tyanoyu" Mrs. N.Burmistrova. The guests expressed their support for the project idea and wished for further development.
